Annie Ross House Holiday Party!
Thank you to the many individuals and groups who helped make this year’s Annie Ross House holiday celebration happen – we couldn’t do this without YOU!

The Annie Ross House holds a holiday celebration every December for current and former Annie Ross House families. This year the party included Holiday music by DJ Larry Sherrill, a healthy dinner donated by Ron Flores Catering, plenty of activities for the kids – ornament making, face painting, and the chance to have a serious heart-to-heart with Santa Claus.

Parents “shop” at our special holiday store full of brand new donated toys and gifts for kids of all ages, along with wrapping paper, ribbons and bows – all without cost for families who could use a little help. The store even included stockings donated by Bernard’s Garage, and baskets stuffed with goodies for moms and dads who may not otherwise receive any holiday presents. All the contents of the holiday store were provided by very generous donors including the Employees of Warn Industries, KGW, an amazing volunteer group led by Judy and Tom “Santa” Wright and scores of community supporters!

Thank you to a special group of OSU alumni and the Honor Society students at Milwaukie High School for donating their time. This celebration ensures a great holiday season for families in need in our community. All in all, 47 families including 119 children and 75 parents were served. Thank you again to everyone who participated in making this holiday season special for The Annie Ross House and the families we serve.

Creekside Woods Senior Housing!
Northwest Housing Alternatives recently opened its newest rental community, Creekside Woods, which offers 84 newly-built apartments for seniors in Wilsonville. The building has a great location – adjacent to the Wilsonville Community Center. Residents are able to conveniently access local services like meals, classes, health and wellness programs and social activities. NHA also offers Resident Services to link tenants to services that promote stability and independent living.

45 apartments at Creekside Woods are reserved for seniors 62 and over. These units include rent assistance that means tenants only pay 30% of their income for their rent and utilities. The rest of the apartments are open to tenants aged 55 and over, and are available at affordable rents.

Creekside was built with green building technology. The apartments are energy efficient so they are more economical for tenants to maintain. And, the homes also offer healthy indoor air quality thanks to paints and finishes with low volatile organic compounds. Creekside Woods was built with the latest stormwater management processes to help protect nearby Boeckman Creek.

If you would like more information about renting at this beautiful new senior community, please contact Guardian Management at 503-802-3688.

Thank you one and all!

I would like to make a donation (100% tax deductible). Please include your mailing address for a receipt for tax purposes.
