Homeless Services

Since 1986, Northwest Housing Alternatives has been fighting homelessness in Clackamas County. Through the Annie Ross House emergency shelter, transitional housing and HomeBase, NHA served over 240 households in 2011. Our programs help close to 800 people transition from homelessness to permanent affordable housing every year.

The homeless population of Clackamas County is growing and almost half of the people experiencing homelessness in our community are children. Every day 44 school buses can be filled with Clackamas County students who don’t have a home.
