Annie Ross House Plant Sale
The day before Mother’s Day each year, Annie Ross House holds a PLANT SALE at the Waldorf School in downtown Milwaukie.  The event features beautiful hanging baskets that make great gifts for Mother’s Day.  The sale includes a wide selection of perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs and specialty plants.  We also invite local vendors who sell arts, crafts and more.  All proceeds from the sale fund Annie Ross House shelter and service programs to help families transition out of homelessness.

 
Home Sweet Home Chocolate Tasting
Home Sweet Home is held each fall (late September or early October) at the Melody Ballroom in Portland.  The fundraising event features decadent amounts of chocolate samples from local chocolatiers, bakers and more.  Try truffles, candy, cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, coffees and even chocolate stout!  We always include some great local musicians (we’ve enjoyed 3 Leg Torso and Super XX Man in the past) to add a festive note to the evening.  A silent auction rounds out the fun.  Home Sweet Home helps take a bite out of the high cost of housing and proceeds benefit Northwest Housing Alternatives.
