When you invest in Northwest Housing Alternatives’ Resident Services program, you help families and older adults who earn low incomes live healthy, stable, and independent lives. Your gift can help us deliver emergency food boxes, coordinate nursing visits, provide information and referral services, and host financial education classes.

Every night over 2,600 Oregonians fall asleep under roofs developed by NHA. Our average family earns a household income $15,421 a year. Resident Services helps these families move from poverty to prosperity and provides emergency services if a family experiences a crisis.

Northwest Housing Alternatives is efficient and effective; $0.90 of every dollar donated goes directly to our programs. We use the remaining $0.10 to manage organizational finances and to raise more funds.

Northwest Housing Alternatives works with families, children, and older adults who need brief but imperative services to ensure their housing stability and to help them avoid homelessness. Because crisis is inherent in the work we do, we appreciate the flexibility to use donations where they are needed most.
