Seniors
With affordable housing, seniors living on fixed incomes have more money for other necessities like medications
and nutritious groceries.
Families
When parents have secure housing, they are better able to care for their children. When children live in stable housing, they achieve in school and in life.
People with Special Needs
Affordable and appropriate housing helps people with disabilities grow in recovery. To succeed in life, everyone needs a place to call home.
Homeless Families with Children
Annie Ross House, NHA’s shelter program, provides housing for homeless Clackamas County families with children. Families receive links to support services to help them get back on their feet.

NHA is Growing

In 2006 and 2007, NHA built and rehabilitated 200 low-cost housing units in Portland, Oak Grove, Oregon City and Wilsonville. We are currently developing affordable communities that will provide another 200 new apartments in Lake Oswego and Wilsonville and preserve 377 affordable apartments in Bend, Hermiston, Medford, Pendleton and Portland.

Donations are Invested in Oregonians and help build
strong communities

Your contribution to Northwest Housing Alternatives helps build new affordable housing for Oregonians with low incomes, and ensures that current NHA residents live in safe, well-maintained properties. A gift in any amount helps NHA house those most in need!

Donations earmarked for Annie Ross House go to direct shelter services for homeless Clackamas County families with children. Many in-kind donations are welcome, please call first.
